Malte Daniljuk (Berlin, Germany)

Malte Daniljuk is a communication scientist, journalist and editor.
He studied journalism and communication sciences at the Free University of Berlin. The focus of his publications are media politics, foreign and security politics as well as economic policies and social development.
Since 1994, Daniljuk has been publishing articles as a freelance writer, mostly in the online portal Telepolis. As an editor, he supervises the ressort „Background & Analysis“ for amerika21 and works in the editorial team of the magazine LuXemburg. Since 1997, he has visited Latin America regularly and has spent several months in Mexico, Columbia and Venezuela. He organized the exchange project “MovimentoR” among others. He regularly scrutinizes the coverage by German media about Latin America.
From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a consultant for international politics at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung.
